Blacksmithing was one of the most valuable professions among the village trades, and it still holds great value in our small village. Here in the heart of Hollókő, you can meet our local blacksmith, who will help you experience firsthand both the challenges and the beauty of the craft!

Dowry Exhibition
The shuttle flew, the loom rattled under the diligent hands of the girls! The dowry of the maiden in the queue to be married was being made, which she would then take to her husband's house. Each pattern of the dowry holds within itself a dream of future happiness, love, and family...
Every element of the beautiful embroidery reflected the girl's emotions and thoughts, her taste and talent.

We believe that the daily use of folk art products is also a continuation of the past.
Therefore, in the former 'clean' room of the Pajtakert building, we have set up our Folk Art Shop, where visitors can choose from the folk art products, textiles and embroideries of local and regional artists.
