- Description
At the entrance of the Old Village, guests are welcomed in the 'Pajtakert' by a woman dressed in traditional folk costume, offering pálinka (fruit brandy) and cottage cheese pie (or scones). During the presentation of local folk costumes, a volunteer lady is dressed as a bride and a gentleman as a groom from Hollókő.
They get to know the processing of hemp, making linen and the richly decorated textiles that make up the girls' dowries. They explore the Blacksmith Workshop and the Dowry Exhibition in Pajtakert, followed by a guided tour of the Old Village, a registered UNESCO World Heritage Site.
